Police have solved five thefts committed in Kavajë during October 2026 and detained the suspect, A. S., 31, a resident of the city. He had been wanted for theft after the Prosecution issued a detention order against him on October 19, 2026.
According to suspicions raised by the investigation, from October 4 to 27, 2026, the 31-year-old took various items and equipment from three homes, a shop, and a vehicle. The cases were reported in different neighborhoods of Kavajë.

The cases were solved through investigations by crime investigation specialists at Kavajë Police Commissariat, who worked with specialists from Plazh Police Station and the Durrës Prosecution Office.
Investigative work is continuing to document other thefts suspected of being linked to the detained man. Authorities are also working to establish the identity of and apprehend anyone who may have collaborated with him.
For further proceedings, the procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecution Office attached to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës.

Several thefts committed last month have been uncovered in Kavajë and Golem. The person suspected of carrying them out has been detained, having previously been declared wanted for the same criminal offense.
Investigations by crime investigation specialists at Kavajë Police Commissariat, conducted together with crime investigation specialists from Plazh Police Station and the Prosecution Office attached to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës, have led to the solving of five thefts committed in the city of Kavajë during October 2026.
As part of these actions, the suspected perpetrator, A. S., 31, a resident of Kavajë, was detained. He had been declared wanted for theft following a detention order issued by the Prosecution on October 19, 2026.
Investigative findings raise suspicions that, between October 4, 2026, and October 27, 2026, he stole various items and equipment from three homes, one shop, and one vehicle in different neighborhoods of Kavajë.
Investigators are continuing their work to uncover other thefts suspected of having been committed by this individual, as well as to identify and apprehend any possible accomplice or accomplices.
The procedural documentation has been sent to the Prosecution Office attached to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës for further action.
