Bomb threats spread across Europe, passengers evacuated from two Greek planes

Greece has been caught up in the bomb threats that have targeted passenger planes in various European countries in recent days.

The alarm was raised for two Aegean Airlines flights after calls reported bombs on board: one plane was traveling from Athens to Vienna, while the other was flying from Thessaloniki to Milan.

Neither plane changed its route. Both arrived and landed safely at their planned destinations. The passengers and crew members were then evacuated from the planes, while authorities began searching for explosives.

The alarms in Greece follow a series of threats in several European countries. On Tuesday alone, at least seven planes and a cruise ship owned by a Greek company received bomb threats.

So far, searches have uncovered no suspicious objects. Authorities are examining whether the cases are connected, while local media have raised suspicions about hackers from Russia and Iran.
