The Special Prosecution Office suspects that Ergys Agasi had established and activated a network of international contacts that could be used to benefit the criminal group he is suspected of leading. SPAK has analyzed Agasi’s communications with two Israeli citizens, considering them evidence of a potential risk that former SHISH director Vlora Hyseni could flee if she were released.
In those conversations, Agasi allegedly told his contacts about his close relationship with Hyseni. In a message dated August 22 to an Israeli citizen saved in his phone as Shalev Israel, he wrote that the head of the intelligence service was a close friend of his.

In another exchange, dated August 6, Agasi wrote to the Israeli Srulik Einhorn Koces through the Signal app about an alleged intervention by the intelligence service director. According to Agasi, she would meet someone and present that person with evidence against the prosecutor.
According to SPAK, Agasi’s international contacts could provide a way to hide Hyseni or help her leave the country if she were not currently under house arrest.
