LSDM says Mickoski has presented two options for Alta Bank: finding a buyer or allowing it to go bankrupt. According to the party, the first option is not viable because there is no buyer. LSDM accuses VMRO and Mickoski of trying to shift the blame onto someone else instead of finding a solution. The party claims no one wants to take on what it describes as the criminal portfolio of a bank owned by someone who, until recently, ran a small currency exchange office in Zemun.
According to LSDM, no serious bank would take over Alta Bank because its reputation has been damaged, its capital is under scrutiny, and investigations are ongoing in Serbia, Montenegro and the EU.

As for the second option, LSDM says bankruptcy has already occurred: a bank in Serbia goes bankrupt when it loses its operating license. The party disputes Mickoski’s statement that everyone should remain calm and that everyone will get their money back. It points out that the Deposit Insurance Agency reimburses individuals up to 30,000 euros per deposit, while for larger amounts, only the insured portion is covered.
LSDM also raises the issue of money held by public enterprises, which it says is likewise the money of Macedonian citizens. The party accuses Mickoski of failing to say what will happen to these funds and wants to know how much money the state stands to lose, what the bank’s assets are, and on what basis he says the remainder will be recovered from the bankruptcy estate.
As an example, LSDM cites Serbia’s Alta Bank: according to the party, it had been claimed that the bank’s vault held almost 400 million euros, but it was later confirmed that Matsura had taken the money out. The party calls on Mickoski to disclose how much public money belonging to Macedonian citizens is held in Alta Bank. According to LSDM, there can be no silence while the figures are concealed, nor any reassurance while money it calls criminal is protected in depositors’ accounts. The party concludes that the scenario Mickoski has not mentioned is the one it says is 100% certain: he and Slaveski will be held accountable and face justice.
